THEME:

“Advancing Numerical Optimization and Operations Research for Sustainable Development”

INTRODUCTION:

Operations Research (OR) referred to the application of mathematics and other scientific methods in defense and tactical operations. Now OR is simply a scientific approach used in assessing the effectiveness of a system in terms of design and operation. Numerical Optimization (using mathematical models) is another scientific approach in finding the best solution to a particular problem. So, the combination of both approaches is crucial in the area of developmental work. Therefore, in 2026, the Journal of KALAM, an internationally refereed journal and Pustaka Ilmu Matematik will organize the 14th International Conference on Numerical Optimization and Operations Research (ICNOOR-XIV) at Hotel, Ben Thanh Market, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

OBJECTIVE:
  1. a. Provide a platform for researchers, professionals, academicians and creative laymen to exchange ideas and discuss their research findings.
  2. Provide ample and fertile ground for researchers to interact at a deeper level in a very harmonics atmosphere.

The ICNOOR XIV conducted by Universitas Abulyatama and the Pustaka Matematik will be held as a hybrid event, featuring an on-site conference (physical presence) at Ben Thanh Market, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and a virtual participation option via Zoom on August 27-30, 2026.
