Operations Research (OR) refers to the application of mathematics and other scientific methods in defense and tactical operations. Now OR is simply a scientific approach used in assessing the effectiveness of a system in terms of design and operation. Numerical Optimization (using mathematical models) is a scientific approach used to find the best solution to a particular problem. So, the combination of both approaches is crucial in the area of developmental work. Therefore, in 2024, Universitas Abulyatama, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, and Pustaka Ilmu Matematik will organize the 12th International Conference on Numerical Optimization and Operations Research (ICNOOR-XII) in Aceh, Indonesia
